Jennifer Lynn Parks and Bobby J. Newby

Location: The Great Smokie Mountains

The bride is the daughter of Sharron Owens Parks of Huntsville, the granddaughter of Alvin and Betty Owens of Huntsville and (the late) Bentley and Iris Parks of Huntsville.

The Groom is the son of Leldon and Thelma Newby of Huntsville.

Jennifer graduated from S.R. Butler High School in 1993 and graduated from Calhoun Community College in 2002 with an Associates in Account.She is currently employed by First American Bank in Madison as the Assistant Branch Manager.

Bobby also graduated from S.R. Butler High School in 1993. He is currently employed by Roto Rooter as a drain technician.

The private ceremony will be held in a moutain wedding chapel at 1p.m. with close family and friends attending. The reception will be held after the ceremony in a chalet in the moutains.

Mr. and Mrs Fred Dixon and Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Ladnier would like to announce the forthcoming marriage of their children, Traci Michele Glover to Jeffrey Louis Ladnier.

Traci is a 1991 graduate of Greene County High School, Leakesville, Mississippi and also attended Phillips Junior College. She is currently employed with G. Charles Bordis, IV, Esquire, as a Legal Secretary.

Jeffrey is a 1989 graduate of Alba High School in Bayou La Batre, Alabama and is also a 1996 graduate of the University of South Alabama. He is currently employed as a Senior Accountant with Transmontaigne, Inc.

Traci and Jeff will celebrate their marriage on March 29, 2008, at 5:00 P.M. at the Community of Christ Church in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Traci and Jeff plan to honeymoon in Branson, Missouri, and will reside in Bayou La Batre, Alabama.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger James of Vestavia Hills, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Jean, to Eben Walker Lindsey, son of Dr. and Mrs. Gene Lindsey of Wellesley, MA.

The wedding is planned for June 21 on Lake Winnipesaukee in Moultonborough, NH.

Miss James is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David James and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Yudell. She is a graduate of Reed College in Portland, OR, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and is currently completing her Master of Science in Library and Information Science degree at Simmons College in Boston, MA. She is employed by the Congregational Library and Archives in Boston.

Mr. Lindsey is the grandson of Rev. and Mrs. Harold Lindsey of Acworth, GA and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mitchell. He is a graduate of Reed College in Portland, OR, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and is employed by John Hancock Annuities in Boston, MA.
